Part-time jobs and “tasks”

A stranger offers easy money for liking videos or rating hotels, paid daily, then asks you to “invest” to unlock bigger tasks.

What it looks like

How it works

1. First tasks really pay small amounts, to win your trust.
2. Then “prepaid tasks” or “merchant tasks” need you to deposit money, promising a big return.
3. Your balance on their website grows, but withdrawing needs ever more “tax” or “fees”.
4. When you stop paying, they vanish.

Red flags

• A job you never applied for, from a stranger on WhatsApp or Telegram.
• Pay for simple clicks that is far above normal.
• Any job where you must pay money to earn money.

What to do

• Stop paying. Money already sent will not be released by paying more.
• Call 1930 and report on cybercrime.gov.in with screenshots and payment IDs.
• Report the WhatsApp number on Chakshu and block it.
