Install Bharat Fact Check on your phone. It takes 10 seconds, needs no Play Store, and uses almost no space.

You’re using the app. Share any message to “Fact Check” to check it.

On Android

1. Open this page in Chrome.
2. Tap “Install on this phone” above. No button? Tap ⋮ (top right) and choose “Install app” or “Add to Home screen”.
3. Now, in WhatsApp, Telegram or any app: long-press a message, tap Share (in WhatsApp, under ⋮), and choose Fact Check.
4. The result opens in seconds. Send the family message back if it’s fake.

If an app doesn’t show Share for a message, tap Copy, open Fact Check from your home screen and tap Paste.

On iPhone

1. Open this page in Safari.
2. Tap the Share button, then “Add to Home Screen”.
3. iPhones don’t let websites appear in the Share menu, so copy a message, open Fact Check and tap Paste.
